About the role:

Are you an experienced WordPress developer seeking to make your mark with a #1 leader, where excellence is a habit? Great, because we are looking for a knowledgeable, solution-orientated, WordPress Developer to join our team and help scale our marketing efforts and regional marketers to achieve exponential groseniowth. 

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to work within a small but passionate development team, to work on a multi-language website, help set our development strategy, and support a team of regional marketers with their development needs, across 28 countries. 

The successful candidate should be comfortable with accountability, have keen attention to detail, be an aspiring, hands-on learner who thrives on challenges, can’t hide their energy, and is hungry to deliver. 

What we expect from you

  • BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience 8+ years of relevant experience 
  • Have a vast knowledge of website development and website management, including multi-language WordPress websites
  • Experience in website project management, including stakeholder management
  • Expert knowledge of WordPress
  • Deep understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, OOP, and SQL
  • Ability to troubleshoot and create solutions for website-related problems
  • Work closely with the design team to create a design-development system for our websites and landing pages, from Figma
  • Utilize advanced WordPress development experience to build custom themes and plugins from scratch, implementing complex functionality using hooks and filters, and optimizing code for performance
  • Proficient in plugins like Elementor to implement scalable, and modular landing page templates which can be used by non-technical users like Regional Marketers or Sales Development Representatives, to alleviate design and development load
  • Help to create a seamless experience for internal administrators and content creators
  • Design and implement modular, and maintainable WordPress architectures, considering factors such as performance, security, and future extensibility
  • Develop responsive and mobile-friendly WordPress websites, ensuring consistent user experience across various devices and screen sizes
  • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and external systems with WordPress, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality integration
  • Implement robust security measures to safeguard WordPress websites against vulnerabilities
  • Preferred experience working with LEMP stack management tools such as EasyEngine and WordOps
  • Experience working with dedicated server structures, preferably on Amazon EC2, using Ubuntu servers with a custom LEMP stack
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical managers & stakeholders
