Jam City is seeking a motivated, skilled Lead Engineer to join our client architecture team in Iowa! We are focused on building high quality technology that can be leveraged across the entire Jam City portfolio of games. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and lead a team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development.
  • Actively participate in the design and creation of software libraries on mobile and web platforms.
  • Work closely with Project Manager to support timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs.
  • Work effectively with a large variety of internal customers and game teams around the globe.
  • Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ideally 2+ years managing a team of developers.
  • 5+ years of development experience with C#.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Unity3D app development and/or native iOS and/or Android development processes.
  • Operation and maintenance of live mobile games is a large plus.
  • Familiarity with git and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar Project Management tools.
  • BS in Computer Science (or equivalent).
