The Technician - Test and Rework will optimize antenna operations to enhance efficiency, quality, and maintain safety standards. They will ensure product built within the Antenna Departments meets all engineering and customer requirements. The Technician - Test and Rework will be located at the Liverpool, NY facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs all testing associated with Products built
  • Performs Operators Preventative Maintenance on Equipment as needed
  • Runs troubleshooting of Equipment and Products
  • Performs rework as needed, mechanical and electrical
  • Packaging once testing is completed as needed
  • Tests and Reworks in accordance with Production Schedule and Needs
  • Quality of Work - Ensures high quality output by checking all aspects of work production for precision. Accurately and carefully follows established procedures for completing tasks.
  • Identify improvements to reduce scrap, cycle time, and downtime.
  • Provide feedback to management for best practices, process parameters, and change control of all testing
  • Ensure compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration with Production, Automation, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design
  • Qualifications

  • Soldering of Electrical Components using wired solder and solder irons
  • Familiarity with Electrical Test Equipment
  • Computer Competency with SAP and Microsoft Office Platforms: Office, Outlook, Excel, Teams desired
  • Familiarity with in Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S principles.
  • Accepts and adjusts work habits to reflect constructive criticism.
  • An analytical mindset, high attention to detail
  • The ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment
  • Teamwork - Works effectively with others. Establishes collaborative relationships to carry out his/her work assignments.
  • Attendance - Is punctual and reports to work on time for scheduled work hours. Adheres to departmental procedure regarding leave requests, and accurately recorded hours worked.
