Responsibilities Include:

  • Completion of Electrical, Mechanical, and Environmental tests using a variety of lab equipment.
  • Connector/Adapter installation, jumper assembly, and cable replacement.
  • Assembly and testing of prototype devices in support of engineering projects.
  • Debug and diagnosis of Test and Measurement issues at various stations.
  • Maintenance, calibration, and replacement of Network Analyzers and PIM equipment.
  • Adherence to Test and Measurement troubleshooting processes and procedures for analysis and reporting.
  • Equipment Used (Included but not Limited to):

  • Electrical – Gated Return Loss, Insertion Loss, and Passive intermodulation measuring devices.
  • Network Analyzers.
  • PIM Analyzers.
  • Computer systems.

  • Mechanical – Various connector installation/prep tools, RF Adapters, and cleaning equipment.
  • Connector Compression Systems.
  • Cable Prep Tools.
  • Adjustable and snap torque wrenches.
  • Lab swabs, isopropyl alcohol, and compressed air.

  • Environmental – Monitor and record results of long-term testing.
  • Various CSZ (Cincinnati Sub Zero) Thermal Chambers
  • SINGLETON Salt Fog Chamber
  • Q-SUN Xenon Weathering Chamber
  • Qualifications:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an RF Test Environment.
  • Have an Associates in Applied Science or related technical training in Electronic Technology or Telecommunications.
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must possess a high attention for detail and quality of work.
  • Must be motivated to take initiative and resolve problems.
  • Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
