Who we are:
Klarna’s Treasury is responsible for providing Klarna with the right amount of funding and capital to meet our planned growth while at the same time as managing liquidity and financial risks.  Within Treasury, the Capital & Funding Planning team has a range of responsibilities including funding management, capital forecasting plus the Group’s ICLAAP and Recovery Plan. As part of the team you will work mainly with analysis and modeling related to Klarna’s funding and liquidity.

What you will do:

  • Developing our models and processes for capital and/or funding forecasting.
  • Automating and improving BAU processes on funding and capital management
  • Analysis for Klarna’s Internal capital and liquidity adequacy assessment process (ICLAAP) and Recovery Plan.
  • Interpreting and practically applying regulatory standards on capital and liquidity
  • Ideally you should have:

  • A university degree within science, engineering, mathematics, business or economics.
  • A strong interest in the financial markets and how they work.
  • 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in the financial sector ideally in a Treasury setting.
  • Strong financial modeling, SQL and Python (or similar) skills.
  • Capacity to glean insights and draw actionable conclusions from data.
  • Strong conceptual and problem solving ability, strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of regulatory standards and/or working on ICLAAPs.
