The Data Foundations team advises and supports all Klarna employees that need an easy to use self-service, fully-managed, and secure platform to cater for their massive data needs. Data Foundations eliminates redundant costs by providing well-defined mechanisms to teams that want to publish, find, transform, monitor and govern data for analytical and machine learning use cases. Our platform is the foundation for governing and influencing data usage in Klarna to enable data-driven decisions with confidence
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Data Foundations team, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of the Klarna Data Platform. Your role in this central team involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient systems to support self-service data management and analytics with a strong focus on access governance and observability. You will get to build services that manage metadata and lifecycle of data assets and interact with multiple teams across the organization, implement mechanisms for secure and compliant data access and sharing, build tooling to support internal teams build their data products, contribute to the operational excellence of our systems and be part of the on-call rotation.
