The Strategy and Programs team within KX (People) works across all areas of the function with a focus on Talent Acquisition and Talent Management to lead or support efforts that will be instrumental in finding and hiring future Krakenites. There’s a lot to do and some of the efforts include supporting the build out of new people functions, rethinking every current processes end-to-end, evaluating our current technology stack, and leading implementations/integrations. While efficiency and effectiveness is the goal, the most important part is any decision the team makes considers and preserves what makes Kraken such a unique and special place to work.

What will you be doing:

  • Create, edit, or review content such as documentation, emails, FAQs, team pages, project plans, or one-pagers
  • Assist in developing the broader communication strategy for the People organization which includes a combination of channels including Slack, Confluence, All Hands, and various meetings.
  • Develop the communication style and brand for the People organization and ensure it’s consistent and cohesive.
  • Manage end-to-end internal communications plans, tactics, and outcome including communications aspects of wider project plans to ensure the various audiences are fully informed.
  • Ensure all communications are polished and have the proper voice and tone to land with the audience as intended.
  • Who you are:

  • Experience developing communication strategies
  • Experience drafting/creating documentation for internal processes or policies
  • Experience writing/editing content such as emails, blog posts, or newsletters published to audiences
  • Experience creating presentations
  • Nice to Haves:

  • Knowledge of recruiting or HR processes and policiesCreative experience or interest such as branding, visual design, or photography
  • Experience with Lucidchart or Figma
  • Experience with Notion, JIRA, G Suite, and Slack
  • Experience working in both small to medium size companies (under 5,000 employees) and large companies (over 25,000 employees)
