You will be responsible for building and operationalizing a world class executive search team who will deliver on extensive hires at the top level. 

This role will suit a highly organized business partner and practitioner of search, who is able to build the infrastructure to hire top tier execs from leading technology and financial institutions. Additionally, you will be a credible and experienced team manager, who knows what it takes to bring together an exceptional team. 

You will be tasked with delivering outstanding executive hires, bringing together an enviable C-Suite and VP layer that will drive Kraken to become a category leader and household name for technology. You will partner extensively with the CEO and his reports to build comprehensive hiring strategies and conduct talent planning. You will maintain key relationships with the worlds top search firms where necessary to maintain agility, but build an exceptional team to help directly deliver searches and develop our own networks.

  • Built a world-class, modern executive recruiting function from the group up to hire the best executive talent from all over the world 
  • Made it possible for the business to more than double in size from our current 2,400 Krakenites through key new C-Suite and VP hires
  • Developed innovative and comprehensive strategies and programmes for great executive hiring at scale
  • Created the playbook for executive hiring excellence and spearheaded level-up training across the executive team
  • Partnered closely with Marketing and Employer Branding to help position Kraken as an employer of choice in the industry

  • Substantial executive recruitment experience within a fast-growing/top technology business
  • Solid foundations stemming from time with a reputable exec search firm
  • Impactful experience as a strategic and operational leader and manager of small teams
  • Steadfast organizer of chaos, able to prioritise and deploy resources for maximum effectiveness 
  • Champion of data-driven insights balanced with an instinct for improvement 
  • Influential and convincing communicator with compelling business partnership/stakeholder management skills
  • Empathetic, emotionally intelligent, motivated and passionate
  • Highly resilient, relentless and cheerful in the face of adversity
