About the Role

Our People team is called the Krakenite Experience (KX) team, and we aim to become a world leader in People Experience. Working with the world’s top talent, our diverse and forward-thinking team is spread across 60+ countries. 

We are searching for a Director of Talent Management (TM) who is dedicated to developing talent management solutions that enable the business and reflect the values and culture of Kraken. This is an exciting opportunity to design Kraken’s TM philosophies and programs. The Director of Talent Management will have top level support to build the best, most innovative TM team in the industry!

Responsibilities

  • Create scalable Talent Management solutions for our global workforce that reflect the unique culture and values of Kraken. In partnership with the greater HR team, Executive leadership, and other stakeholders you will build and lead a wide variety of talent management & development initiatives including performance management, talent assessment, engagement, talent  planning strategies, coaching and other and more
  • Oversee the development and execution of the organization’s engagement and retention initiatives to increase organizational and individual performance
  • Oversee the design and management of performance evaluation systems and work with HR Business Partners and department heads in designing career development paths
  • Requirements

  • 8+ years in Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Talent Management designing and implementing talent programs and initiatives, with a strong emphasis on performance management programs
  • Experience at a technology company or highly successful start-up
  • Strong strategic consulting skills
  • Able to diagnose, develop, and implement appropriate talent management solutions that have lasting business impact.  
  • Highly effective communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts and proposals across all levels
  • Superior facilitation/presentation skills
  • Ability to move from strategic to tactical seamlessly to drive the end-to-end talent management cycle and processes
  • Appreciates privacy, security, “crypto values”, sound money, and can get along well with other Krakenites
  • Passion for cryptocurrency adoption and personal experience with crypto strongly preferred
  • Workday experience preferred
