Kraken is looking for an experienced engineering manager for Admin. In this role, our ideal candidate (you) will be responsible for building and managing the team charged with positioning Admin as a Platform. Working on one of the important tools within Kraken, you will work closely with Design to apply a Tailwind driven Design System allowing other teams to build off the Admin ecosystem. You will help push initiatives that will lower friction and remove technical debt that limit groups from successfully building within Admin. This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management, working cross function to ensure the needs are met for product teams to deliver quickly and effectively. The Kraken experience needs to be ambitious, simple, and user-centered; come and help us make that happen!

Basic Qualifications

6+ years of full-time professional engineering experience

4+ years of experience building, coaching and running highly effective software engineering teams

Deep knowledge of software development and delivery best practices; you know when a team isn’t moving fast enough and you know how to fix it

Experience converting a product to platform

Clear passion for both software engineering and Crypto

Proven track record navigating and addressing technical debt

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience driving solutions to key business problems, even if the requirements are not clear

Understands the importance of aligning code to design and the impact it has on quality assurance

Understanding of scalable JavaScript architecture patterns and client side systems design
