About the role 

We are growing rapidly and expanding our footprint into new markets globally. To support our expansion we are building a world class HR and People Operations function that will enable us to both recruit and retain top talent by offering best in class Benefits that are relevant to individual territories. 

You will join a global benefit team working together to identify and implement scalable benefits solutions for our global workforce while meeting our employee needs in line with our mission, values and culture.

What you will do:

  • Provide counsel to key internal stakeholders on benefits guidelines and the nuances of regions, territories and specific countries as well as build external relationships with key benefits partners
  • Represent the benefits team in legal entity expansion and set up
  • Lead a team of international benefits analysts who are responsible for day-to-day benefit administration across the regions.
  • Support the Director of Global Benefits by executing all aspects of the annual benefits management process including health and welfare, retirement (pension), leave of absence, and ancillary benefits for the international region (all countries except for US & Canada)
  • Work with the Global Benefits and People Operation team to support the development, implementation and administration of benefits programs for the international region (all countries except US) including health and welfare, retirement, and leave of absence
  • Partner with the Workday team to improve administration efficiency through automation and employee self-service
  • Conduct regular analysis to monitor the regulatory compliance and on-going effectiveness of benefits programs to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity are maintained
  • Shares recommendations regarding changes to existing programs with Director of Global Benefits
  • Regularly monitors local works council, labor union, and acquired rights requirements to ensure company adherence to local laws
  • Provide assistance on one-off benefits projects
  • What we're looking for:

  • BS/BA, preferably in a business field
  • Minimum of 10+ years benefits experience. High-Tech experience preferred
  • Experience managing people
  • Experience with Workday HRIS
  • Excellent prioritization and organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of international (local country) laws pertaining to benefits; ability to find answers where there is a lack of knowledge
  • Interpersonal/Influencing/Negotiating skills
  • Independent, self-managed, and self-starter personality
  • Be able to provide solutions and clarity in times of ambiguity
