About the Role

This role is fully remote within the United States. Per the listed requirement for US state bar admission, we will consider US-based applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Legal Department with preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences
  • Manage document flow to and from outside counsel, including organizing pleadings, discovery
  • Draft correspondence to potential targets, attorneys, courts, third parties, etc
  • Draft discovery and discovery responses
  • Conduct manual and electronic document reviews
  • Prepare hearing, deposition, mediation, and trial notebooks and exhibits
  • Perform legal research
  • Maintain deadlines calendar and schedule relevant events
  • Conduct e-filing on the state and federal level
  • Prepare meeting materials, i.e. PowerPoint Presentations and schedule conference calls and web-based meetings
  • Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Experience with state and federal litigation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision
  • Good organization and attention to detail
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to get things done on time
  • Capability for organizing and prioritizing competing assignments to meet deadlines and corporate needs
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with enthusiasm within an organization with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
