About the role:

The Head of project Management for Treasury will build out and oversee a team of professionals while building a best in class function and the capabilities to support the growth and success of Kraken.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the Treasury Project Management function using best practice and efficient PMO methodology to create project plans and implement defined solutions
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition and management of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Promote good working relationships across a project, cultivating the skills necessary to develop trust and communication among all stakeholders
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned

    • Who you are:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in project management within the financial services, fintech, or fast growing technology company that includes growth in these roles. Treasury experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Accounting, Finance or Economics.  MBA Preferred; 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/Agile certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of project management metrics including gathering, reporting and trend analysis.
  • Ability to develop project plans and manage individual deadlines and goals
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of treasury and banking activities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Applications
  • Strong communicator (written & verbal) capable of interacting with multiple stakeholders 
  • Effective networking skills and strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • A sense of accountability, commitment, energy and execution
  • Attention to detail with a drive to solve problems, investigate issues, and creative thinking.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Intrinsic motivation with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the organization.
