The Assistant Finance Manager role will ensure that all vendor and supplier payments are made on time and are properly documented.

What you’ll do:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Assist in the preparation of the Company’s annual budget and long-term financial forecasts
Support in the development of financial models to assist decision-making processes
Collaborate with department heads to gather inputs and ensure alignment with the organization’s goals

Accounting Support:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and account reviews
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with internal and external audits

Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports for senior management, highlighting key financial trends, performance indicators, and areas of concern
Assist in the preparation of statutory and tax reports to ensure compliance with local regulations

Internal Controls & Compliance:
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support to business leaders.
Act as a liaison between the finance department and other areas of the organization, ensuring clear communication of financial matters.

Ad hoc Projects:
Assist in special financial projects as needed, including system implementations, process improvements, and financial analysis

What we seek:

Strong understanding of financial accounting processes and reconciliation techniques
Ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis


What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or professional certification like CPA is a plus)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and MS Office Suite, especially Excel (Advanced knowledge of Excel is highly desirable)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Must be willing to work in the office in the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) daily
