We are launching in the US and are looking for a Finance Manager to be based in New York, USA. The ideal candidate has experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments and can help scale and manage our rapid growth across the US. We are seeking someone who has strong leadership abilities and hands-on experience in managing finance operations.
What you will do:
Manage the daily operations of the Finance and Accounting DepartmentPerforms Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes for the US operationOrganize, control and define the proper process for local invoicing, finance and collectionsLiaise with external parties including but not limited to customers, vendors, lawyers, tax or government authorities, etcSupport and orientation for all internal areas regarding financial/business processesManage the day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Finance and Accounting DepartmentCoordinate with suppliers of payments platforms and invoicing platforms locallyPreparing the financial information required by the local authoritiesParticipating in internal control testing and some transactional taxes activitiesContributing to timely and efficient communication with stakeholders to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvementPrepares cash flow reports, financial reports such as Forecasts, Budgets and Actual results, performing a thorough investigation and analysis over collected dataPerform financial review & analysis, budgeting, planning, capital expenditure and investment return analysis on a group level basisPerform month-end reconciliation and analysis, including but not limited to fixed assets and bank statements Supporting the financial leadership team with financial aspects of project funding and risk assessmentKnowledge and Skills
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or AccountingFluent in English to communicate with the entire group mainly based in Hong Kong5 years of relevant experience in Finance with ideally 1 year in a managerial capacityMust have a strong understanding of local taxation regulations with the ability to adviseHolding a CPA certification is strongly preferredSolid tax knowledge and advanced ExcelWhat we look for:
