The Office of the Commissioner is seeking a Part-Time Broadcast Engineer to support the MLB Replay Operations Center and all (30) MLB franchises.
Responsibilities
- Verify ballpark equipment including video servers and communication equipment
- Document equipment status and verify incoming video streams for Replay
- Communicate with local technicians and Replay Operators to coordinate video requests and equipment confirmations
- Keep detailed and thorough notes and documentation
- Assist in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on all broadcast device
- Respond to requests for technical support via telephone and email
Qualifications & Skills
- Have fundamental understanding of Broadcast technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and understand technical materials
- Ability to recognize and troubleshoot issues in infrastructure environments and software applications
- Ability to work well with others within a team environment and without direct supervision
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
Pay Range: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
