We are seeking to immediately fill a Coordinator, Ticketing Data position. The Coordinator, Ticketing Data will be responsible for a variety of projects and initiatives, examples of these responsibilities are as follows:

 Objectives/Roles

  1. Own the categorization and mapping of MLB ticketing data
  2. Work to standardize Club ticketing data in an effort to provide accurate and relevant reporting
  3. Audit and reconcile ticketing data feeds with financial and Club-submitted reporting
  4. Build ad-hoc reports and dashboards using primary and secondary ticketing data
  5. Build and maintain long-term business relationships with revenue driving personnel at MLB clubs while contributing to the growth of ticketing revenue for MLB
  6. Assist with day-to-day management and coordination of partner relationships
  7. Thorough and timely documentation of revenue driving initiatives
  8. Support Ticketing Directors with various tasks that will lead to an increased understanding of the business and client’s needs
  9. Manage additional projects as assigned

Crucial Competencies/Previous Experience

  1. Bachelors Degree
  2. Masters Degree a plus
  3. 2+ years related experience
  4. Proficient in spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  5. Proficient in SQL
  6. Working experience and knowledge in Looker or other business intelligence software
  7. Detail-oriented, organized and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  8. Self-motivated, strong work ethic and driven to learn
  9. Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines
  10. Able to manage projects from conception to implementation
  11. Flexible schedule: available weekends and late nights throughout the year, as needed
  12. Team player with the ability to develop cordial, professional relationships with all levels of MLB staff and partners as applicable
  13. General understanding of Internet operations including business/commerce aspects of the web
  14. Experience with content management systems preferable
  15. Familiarity with the game of baseball
  16. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  17. Basic understanding of e-commerce and ticketing

    Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is an hourly rate of $28.00 to $30.00. The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
