Marcus & Millichap, the nation’s leader in commercial real estate investment sales, is seeking a strategic, collaborative and tenacious Recruiter to join its established team in our firm’s Corporate Headquarters in Calabasas, California.
 
Since our IPO in late 2013, our firm has grown steadily through the recruitment of the best and brightest talent across the commercial real estate industry, both in our corporate office as well as the 80+ brokerage offices throughout the US and Canada.
 
We are seeking a passionate recruiter with a primary focus on talent acquisition across all Marcus & Millichap corporate divisions, with a potential to recruit investment sales agents and mortgage loan originators.

Our senior leadership team views recruiting as an integral part of their own team, and you will find yourself immersed in each department on a daily basis. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, implementation of processes & procedures, and employing creative strategies to develop and cultivate talent pipelines for critical positions.

In this Role You Will:

  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment life-cycle for all corporate business lines.
  • Develop and implement a position-specific targeted search strategy to source active and passive candidates.
  • Prepare recruitment advertising & postings that utilize the latest recruitment marketing concepts including social media and direct sourcing.
  • Build relationships with managers and directors to become a valued resource and trusted advisor to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage candidate relationships and the candidate experience in order to integrate new hires with M&M’s culture.
  • Manage the interview scheduling and pre-employment processes to include feedback calibrations, background checks, testing and offer process. 
  • Successful Candidates Will Possess:

  • Very solid core recruiting skills – Demonstrated experience managing a high-volume of candidates, developing a sourcing strategy to attract a high-volume of quality candidates, properly assessing candidate qualifications, cultivating and closing opportunities effectively. 
  • Business acumen with strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency and a commitment to quality.
  • Proven client service focus, with an ability to resolve issues quickly, with integrity, sound judgment and a sense of urgency.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a corporate (non-agency) recruiting environment though agency experience is a plus. A mix of high volume candidate processing and direct sourcing experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Office 365 (SharePoint, OneNote, Teams, etc.) a plus.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and other social recruiting platforms.
  • Experience utilizing job boards, target company cold-calling, and other sourcing mechanisms to identify candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of common human resources practices, employment laws and/or government compliance regulations that affect recruitment.
