A top producing investment real estate sales team at Marcus & Millichap, the nation's leading commercial real estate investment sales company, is seeking a Salesforce Administrator & Researcher to work in their Chicago Oak Brook office. This person will be responsible for a high volume of Salesforce management, market research, and general administrative tasks on a fast-paced commercial real estate team. 
 
This position will be paid at an hourly rate based off an annual salary of $45,000 to $55,0000, depending on level of experience.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Update and optimize existing database software and implement additional resources to improve collection and use of data within the team.
  • Build upon current Salesforce interface to improve agent workflow and client interactions.
  • Support Salesforce configuration changes such as Custom Objects, Profiles and Roles, Validation Rules, page layouts, fields, processes, and workflows.
  • Perform data loads and maintain data integrity through data cleansing, de-duplication, and record merging.
  • Maintain salesforce dashboards and update as needed.
  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup.
  • Deliver user guides and training.
  • Update categorization of client records and/or adding notes to record tracking current acquisitions, sales, and contact information changes.
  • Conduct research and updates for comparable property sales and listings, as well as developments in planning, permitting, construction and recently completed phases.
  • General administrative tasks assigned as needed.
  • Maintain all leads from all third-party sites.
  • Job Requirements

  • Knowledge base of Salesforce.com through certification and webinars.
  • Ability to prioritize critical tasks and work well in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • Ability to communicate extremely well.
  • Possess a strong desire to learn new concepts and master new software applications.
  • Strong work ethic, verbally articulate and detail-oriented.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Basic Coding Knowledge Preferred.
  • Strong editing skills, i.e., spelling, grammar, punctuation.
  • Basic real estate understanding/knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Experience with commercial real estate focused programs preferred but not required (CoStar, Loopnet, LexisNexis, etc.)
