Marcus & Millichap, Inc, the nation’s largest commercial real estate investment brokerage company (80+ offices in North America), is looking to hire a highly motivated SAP Systems Integration Developer. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business process design & optimization: Define the problem, propose & architect a solution, develop the solution, deploy & support.
  • Systems integration & application interface design: Design and development of new integration interfaces between SAP and key accounting applications and services
  • SAP Solution Design: Design new solution extensions based on business user requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with Architecture and Infrastructure Teams on best practices, solution design and environment setup.
  • Subject matter expertise: Provide ownership of the key business processes within SAP and associated-interfaced system integrations.
  • Day-to-day user support: Work closely with business users and third-party software vendors to perform root-cause analysis and resolve software defects including working with the technical support teams of the software vendors.
  • Audit support & compliance: Assist audit & compliance team by providing relevant documentation to ensure compliance with audit controls, data privacy requirements & security assessment.
  • Documentation: Maintain adequate documentation relating to SAP landscape, process mapping, integration touch points, SAP configuration.
  • Education and experience required:

  • Preferred 4 years’ experience in ECC6 SAP R/3 ABAP programming experience preferably in FICO & Profit Center Accounting module.
  • Knowledge of several functional business areas including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
  • Good understanding of various business processes including month-end process, year-end process, payment process, corporate allocations process, electronic payments process, bank statement reconciliation process
  • Demonstrated experience in working on projects involving interfacing SAP with other related third-party accounting systems that specialize in niche areas like expense management, lease accounting, invoice management, electronic payments, 1099 reporting, etc.
  • Familiarity with Blackline, Concur Invoice, Concur Expense, Security Weaver
  • Demonstrated ability & experience working with highly integrated system landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability of learning and applying new skills during the career.
  • Ability to take user requirements, design appropriate solutions and carry them through implementation including integration testing and end user training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to sell concepts and ideas to a wide range of audiences.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or related discipline.
