We’re seeking an Identity and Access Management Architect to join our expanding Security team. As a software provider serving government entities dealing with sensitive data, it’s crucial that we adhere to our customers’ requirements and maintain rigorous internal controls. A pivotal responsibility is ensuring that our team members who require access to sensitive data for customer support are promptly and thoroughly cleared. As our IAM Manager, you will protect our systems, data, and applications. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Formulate and execute a holistic IAM strategy that aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices. 
  • Lead our Identity and Access Management initiatives while ensuring well-defined policies and streamlined procedures are upheld.
  • Manage user access to systems, applications, and critical data. 
  • Monitor compliance with policies, regulations, and customer requirements. 
  • Deploy and manage AWS services. 
  • Leverage your hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra) to expertly manage identity and access management within the Azure ecosystem 
  • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions. 
  • Investigate reported incidents. 
  • Train users on IAM policies and procedures. 
  • Keep tabs on evolving threats, technologies, and solutions. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure secure access. 
  • Document IAM processes and procedures. 
  • Create and manage systems for user access and permissions. 
  • Monitor logs to detect security incidents. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align with business needs and legal requirements. 
  • Handle user lifecycle events (onboarding, offboarding, updates). 
  • Handle customer inquiries and support tickets. 
  • Manage our background check program, including the new hire,  

 

What We Expect from You: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 
  • Professional certification such as Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP). 
  • 5-8 years of experience in IAM or a related field. 
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with identity and access management solutions. 
  • Strong project management skills. 
  • Knowledge of PowerShell preferred.  
  • Experience with SQL databases. 
  • Experience in IT security or associated field. 
  • 8+ years of experience leading a team and planning road maps.
