We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. You will be reporting to the Accounting Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, helping with accounting related items, running payroll and other special projects as assigned.

 

What you can expect to work on

  • Process payroll, including updating employee numbers, hours, garnishments, benefits, and payroll amendments.
  • Prepare and post payroll journal entries.
  • Assist with preparing reconciliations for month end close and analyzing variances.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits and other ad hoc projects
  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle and resolve any discrepancies
  • Review expense reimbursement claims and ensure they are consistent with company policies

 

What we expect from you

  • 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience
  • Knowledge of payroll and income reporting requirements, accounts payables procedures and principles
  • Understanding of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processes
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent organization and administration skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, thoroughness, and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Familiar with NetSuite, MineralTree, Rippling and Brex
  • Experience working for a software as a service (SaaS) company preferred

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a target base annual salary range of $90,000-$110,000 plus bonus opportunity, company stock options, and a full benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.
