About the Team

The Central Tech Platform team at Meesho powers product, business, analytics and data science use cases in the organisation. The platform is responsible for Data Acquisition, Analytics, Experimentation and Data Science workflows, which support various product needs across the organisation. 

About the Role

As a Product Manager of the team, you’ll be responsible for one or more of the product charters, playing a crucial role that helps teams across Meesho 10x by improving their productivity and making each step of product development data-driven. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, analysts and data scientists across the organisation to facilitate the successful delivery of product initiatives. You’ll handle change and risk effectively, collaborate to make timely decisions, communicate appropriately, and adjust plans intelligently in a changing environment. 

We’re looking for Product Managers who can deliver on the roadmaps of technical products, independently drive, be resourceful, and deliver results with minimal direction through solid collaboration.

What you will do

  • Drive technical products while managing cross-team collaboration, and complex project schedules, removing roadblocks, and driving to completion.
  • Define and drive the roadmap for a given charter in the Central Tech Platform that supports Meesho’s philosophy of iterative product mindset while prioritising business needs and impact.
  • Establish workflows and processes to get the best use of the platform to reduce onboarding friction and improve time to market for the given solutions.
  • Engage with Central Tech Platform stakeholders to streamline processes, simplify execution with actionable plans, manage on-time releases, bring tooling for efficiencies and help the teams with the execution.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control and, where needed, improve processes for completeness and better efficiency.
  • Incorporate metrics into all stages and communications of programs to remove subjectivity and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with highly technical engineering/data teams in a technical product management role.
  • Experience managing products/projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Superb communication skills; ability to represent programs from business, product, and technical perspectivesAn aptitude for technology and the ability to quickly understand new technologies.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills to manage stakeholders.
  • Brownie points for a Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience as a software developer, data engineer, or analyst will be a plus.
  • Experience working with internal or platform product teams in a fast-growing organisation will be a plus.
