About the Team 

Being part of Meesho's Fulfilment and Experience team as Senior Manager -ValMo- First & Last Mile  will zip you to the cockpit of our ever-burgeoning rocketship, where you get to directly shape the experience of the country's next billion e-commerce users. We are an eclectic mix of 100+ professionals with diverse skill sets ranging from running operations/support, supply chain know-how, analytics and the holy grail, first principles problem-solving. At Meesho, we are trying to do what's never been done before - taking e-commerce to the masses. This leaves us with no choice but to completely reimagine logistics from the ground up, to cater to our customers' price and delivery expectations. That means a host of "zero-to-one" projects (takers, anyone?) to build a supply chain to change how folks think about e-commerce not just in India, but globally. We are strong believers in fun at work. About the Role 

As Senior Manager,  you’ll lead your own team and drive performance, experience and expansion of the first & last mile network for ValMo.  You’ll create processes and SOPs to onboard and manage micro-entrepreneurs to do last-mile / first-mile delivery and cost metrics for logistics operations. You’ll manage a team to help drive the vision of the network. You’ll continuously work towards identifying gaps and providing recommendations for improving the processes.

What you will do

  • Lead the FM & LM charter for Valmo (Meesho’s foray into logistics)
  • Help design SOPs that are user-centric, cost-effective, scalable and aligned to business strategy for backend processes
  • Manage Internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to develop new processes for optimizing the network speed, network cost and improve the Customer experience
  • Spearhead business process improvements to positively affect operational efficiencies
  • Own the operational metrics associated with programs
  • Identify potential points of continuous improvement to fill in existing process gaps
  • Partner with analytics, product, fulfillment, 3PL and leadership teams to improve user experience and reduce business costs
  • Conduct data analysis to develop insights and identify areas of improvement
  • What you will need

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree from premium college in any discipline with 6+ years of work experience in start-ups / consumer internet companies/management consulting/operations
  • Strong data-driven mindset to solve problems. Proven ability to form points of view on business implications
  • Proven track record of defining and driving initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Expertise in multi-front stakeholder management
