We have an immediate need to identify and bring onboard a community manager in Australia who can lead a team, create great community energy, deliver engaging content and of course, have a great sense of humor.

Project Hours:
5-10 hours per week

What We Are Looking For:

  • LOVES social media, and has an understanding of platforms and features
  • Has excellent writing skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation) in English
  • Is able to communicate tone in a creative manner on social media
  • Has experience working on social media projects
  • Is customer-focused, with the ability to connect with others through empathy
  • Is able to solve problems, find solutions, and adapt to new approaches
  • Possesses an understanding of the sensitivity and vigilance necessary when working with teens and youth in social
  • Experience working with youth groups / young people is a plus!
  • Experience managing online communities in group and 1:1 settings is a plus!
  • Has flexible availability and willingness to support the project as needed
  • Resides in Australia
  • Workspace Requirements:

  • Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above (Please note:  A Chromebook is not sufficient for ModSquad projects.)
  • Quality headset 
  • Quiet workspace to take calls 
  • Willingness to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on phone 
  • ***PRO TIP***: Take your time and make sure you do a thorough job in completing your application. Your responses should be grammatically correct and comprehensive. This will greatly increase the probability of scoring an interview!
