If you are enthusiastic, talented and enjoy working with numbers and clients, we have the job for you!  We have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join ModSquad in a work from home situation.  This is a diverse role with a great chance for progression and development in a growing business. The Financial Analyst will report directly to the VP of Revenue Operations and will be a vital member of the finance team.

Salary:
Negotiable depending on experience

What you will do:

  • Updating client information in the Intacct ERP and YayPay client payment portal.
  • Facilitating the processing of client retainer deposit returns and deposit true ups.
  • Assisting with the processing of daily cash receipts.
  • Communicating directly with clients regarding payment status, outstanding AR balances, and researching payment application issues.
  • Tracking client purchase order utilization and ensuring invoices are submitted with valid purchase orders.
  • Taking ownership of various daily finance and accounting functions.
  • Handling routine client collections follow ups.
  • Process streamlining and improvements.
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

    • Who you are:

  • You enjoy working with Excel, payment systems and accounting software.
  • You ideally have 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • A self-starter who feels comfortable asking questions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong desire to grow into a leadership role.
  • Strong ability or interest in designing efficient processes and procedures and making process improvements.
  • Ability to meet financial deadlines.
  • Experience with the international and US banking systems is a plus
