ModSquad is seeking a People Operations Coordinator. The People Operations Coordinator supports the daily functions of the People Operations Department facilitating the efficient flow of communication and processes. The person in this role completes and helps to maintain legal compliance in assigned areas and completes administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner. Applying a welcoming and helpful approach to enhance the employee and independent contractor experience is an essential part of this role.

This is a full time opportunity.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience and understanding of Costa Rica and Latin America and Global human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Exercises discretion especially as it relates to issues of confidentiality.
  • Proficient with on-line communication tools and HRIS systems. 
  • Ability to think critically, provide solutions and solve problems.
  • Able to adapt to changes and multitask.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Broad exposure to HR processes and procedures
  • Working knowledge of HR generalist duties
  • Zendesk experience is a plus

    • Workspace Requirements:

  • Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above
  • Quality headset (noise-cancelling)
  • Quiet workspace to take calls 
  • Willingness to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on phone
