MongoDB is seeking an HRIS Operations Engineer who will be a trusted resource in our HR system platforms, act as a consultant to the organization -- understand processes and where data exists, what limitations there may be, and how to transform into actionable solutions. 

The HRIS Operations Engineer will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our SAP SuccessFactors HRIS platform, ensuring its reliability, security, and optimal performance. This position requires a deep understanding of HR processes, systems architecture, data management, and technical troubleshooting skills.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.

Work Timings: 6:30PM to 2:30AM IST 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our SuccessFactors platform, including system configuration, user access management, data integrity, and overall system performance
  • Maintain alignment with HR teams, emphasizing responsive customer service and proactive communication
  • Ensure support tickets are resolved promptly and with high quality, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Conduct regular retros and quality reviews of tickets with the HRIS team, providing coaching and training to junior team members to foster continuous improvement
  • Facilitate the transition of operational support from the HR Transformation team for newly deployed projects and enhancements
  • Monitor integration tasks for errors and promptly address any necessary fixes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SuccessFactors with other business systems such as payroll, Greenhouse, and talent management tools, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for troubleshooting HRIS-related issues within the Operations team, providing timely resolution and support to end-users. Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for errors and lead initiatives to minimize recurrence
  • Lead the review and implementation of SF biannual release. Report on overall impact of changes and benefits to adopting opt-in features, and present relevant features to stakeholders
  • Implement and maintain security protocols, access controls, and data privacy measures to protect sensitive HR information. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR, CCPA,industry-specific standards and internal audit/SOX controls
  • Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Successfactors available reporting tools like Story Reports to provide HR stakeholders with actionable insights into workforce metrics, trends, and performance indicators. Develop ad hoc reports as needed to support business decision-making
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their HRIS requirements and provide expert guidance on system configuration and best practices including all available solution options
  • Be a point person for end to end company-wide HRIS projects and systems, with ability to interpret business needs and evaluate, enhance and build tools to automate scalable processes, and present ideas and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Responsible for understanding and troubleshooting existing integrations as well as designing new integrations as needs arise
  • Conduct and coordinate testing for system enhancements and system changes due to new or changing business requirements, as well as software upgrades and releases
  • Develop, document, and maintain system admin procedures, and employee resource guides
  • Partner closely with the HR Shared Services team to address data issues, automate manual processes, provide training and knowledge transfer as necessary, and process mass data loads

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on HRIS administration and configuration experience in 2-3 SAP SuccessFactors modules 
    • Advanced knowledge of Employee Central module including Position Management and Time-off is required
    • Additional modules: Compensation, Performance and Goals, and Onboarding 2.0
  • Ability to create and troubleshoot reports using Story Reporting, Canvas and other SF reporting tools.
  • Ability to problem solve by independently assessing system configurations and partner with business process owners to identify solutions and opportunities for improvement
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technology and a passion for process improvement and data integrity; interest in driving administrative efficiency with accuracy
  • Excellent analytical skills, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to set priorities to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Expert understanding of HR processes and data to ensure correct and efficient integration of HRIS system
  • This role will directly interact with business stakeholders located in global offices. Strong presentation and communication skills for varied audiences is essential.
  • Experience in the creation of proofs of concept to present to various stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification is highly desirable; other certifications are a plus
