About the role
MongoDB is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support our growing company's needs. This role requires a technically sound and a strategic thinker, but also someone who is prepared to “roll up their sleeves.” It also requires interaction across the organization, globally. The right candidate will be a builder with a strong analytical and problem solving mindset. This position will be a part of the global analytics organization and will primarily support the finance and operations team. This role is based in the Gurgaon office with shift timings from 2 pm to 10 pm India time. By joining MongoDB you will be gaining an enormous amount of experience while accelerating your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with different teams in fin-ops (FPA, Accounting, GL, P2P etc) to understand their data & questions, turn analyses into actionable data-driven insights and make business recommendations
- Liaise with Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Business teams to create and manage a curated central repository for analytical end use
- Design and build automated dashboards to empower stakeholders to self-serve their data and analytical needs
- Prioritize and triage analytical and reporting asks from across the team
- Effectively communicate analytical findings to non-technical audiences
- Create, maintain and deliver data reports & dashboards with high data accuracy
- Work on new analytics projects from scratch by collaborating with stakeholders
- Automate manual data related tasks using Python, Pandas and Numpy scripts
- Constantly self upskill to cater ever changing technical requirements
Requirements we are looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics (focus on Financial analytics preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree with any science or engineering subjects
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets
- Advance knowledge of Tableau, SQL & Python (Data types, loops, Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib)
- Intermediate knowledge of working with APIs
- Knowledge of working in Jira is a plus
- Creative, analytical and mathematical mindset
- Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
- Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to roll up your sleeves and work with team members, driving projects through to completion
