About the job

MongoDB is growing and looking for a driven and experienced Head of IT Audit (Sr Manager) to join our team. You will report to the Head of Internal Audit and lead the IT Audit function for MongoDB. This is a critical role on a team instrumental for making sure that the company has the right controls and processes in place to enable scalable growth, with trust in mind. You will be expected to lead with agility, creativity, and emotional intelligence, while keeping attention to detail.  

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the entire end-to-end IT SOX audit cycle for MongoDB, including scoping of key technology assets, and testing of design and effectiveness of relevant ITGCs, ITACs, Key Reports, and SDLCs
  • Work closely with the Head of Internal Audit to develop and execute the long-term vision for the IT Audit function
  • Develop and manage relationships across IT, Engineering, and Finance
  • Coordinate and review the work performed by other Internal Audit personnel
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business, technology partners, and external auditors
  • Advise IT Audit program internal stakeholders on IT process and control maturity opportunities 
  • Assist in the preparation and/or delivery of Internal Audit updates to be presented to the management team, Chief Accounting Officer, CFO/COO, CIO, CTO, and Audit Committee on a quarterly basis
  • Conduct operational audits related to IT areas including CyberSecurity, Data Privacy, and Data Governance/Integrity 
  • Assist with internal investigations as they arise

Requirements 

  • 8+ years of relevant IT audit experience at a SAAS technology company
  • Experience overseeing the entire end-to-end IT SOX audit cycle, including scoping of key technology assets, and testing of design and effectiveness of relevant ITGCs, ITACs, Key Reports, and SDLCs
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Deep knowledge of technology industry, especially consumption based models 
  • Strong experience working with controls in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Excellent understanding of internal control concepts and experience evaluating and determining the adequacy of controls by considering business and technology risks in an integrated manner
  • Comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment; able to identify, advocate for, and execute improvements in such an environment
  • CIA/CPA/CISA/CISSP qualification with Big 4 experience strongly preferred

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:
$106,000$209,000 USD
