MongoDB is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead a global TechOps CRM function (70% IC & 30% mgmt.). You will be responsible for one of the Pods from idea to delivery. This position will play a key role in growing large, strategic CRM projects and provide critical support to the internal departments that will drive efficiencies, profitability and stronger controls. This role can be based out of our Gurugram/Bengaluru office or remotely in the Gurugram/Bengaluru region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of CRM Engineers (Salesforce Dev Engineers) to successfully plan, develop and implement strategic projects and enhancements for multiple business departments
  • Function as SME for team on salesforce.com administration and development, integration capabilities across product suites, real-world salesforce automation, base salesforce functionality, and industry business processes
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured scalable salesforce design
  • Lead technical design sessions. Design and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
  • Ability to build, articulate & execute scalable CRM solutions to both business and technical stakeholders
  • Research and evaluate current and upcoming technologies and frameworks
  • Create PoCs (Proof of Concept) and help the team with the selection of Tools, Technologies, Methodologies, and Frameworks
  • Conduct brown bag sessions on new and upcoming technologies, methodologies, and application-appropriate frameworks. Provide technical training to the other team members
  • Ability to execute at scale in a dynamic environment, build strong relationships and promote collaboration, identify talent, recruit, hire, coach, mentor, and build high performing technical teams; experience setting direction, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and systems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies especially as it pertains to new technology
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing business environment
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify stakeholders, assess their needs, and manage their expectations through effective communication
  • Ability to work positively and to interact with individuals across the organization at all levels, including leadership
  • Excellent leadership and management skills; with the ability to influence and promote positive outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of technical engineering management in global SaaS software companies
  • Deep understanding and working knowledge of “Order to Cash” capabilities especially within the Salesforce.com ecosystem
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce customizations (e.g. Apex, VF, LWC)
  • Strong understanding of when to use configurations versus customizations; and the various limitations of Salesforce (i.e. governor limits)
  • Experience and expertise in cloud technologies, open-source methodologies, DevOps, modern design, and integration patterns
  • Successful experience running at-scale engineering programs, hiring and retaining top talent, building high-performing teams, and coaching and mentoring future leaders
  • Understanding of systems architecture, key design patterns, large data volume, and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, process automation, reporting, etc.)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
  • Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Preferred Skills

  • Proven track record of managing development teams (directly/indirectly) and delivering impactful Salesforce.com outcomes to the business stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of FinancialForce, CPQ, and Conga as well as integration platforms such as Boomi are pluses
  • Expert-level knowledge and development experience in Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, SOQLs, Governor Limits, Declarative Automation, Web Services and Lightning components development (Aura and LWC)
  • Certified Application/System Architect preferred

Success Measures

  • In 3 months, you will have acquired complete knowledge of the CRM systems and tools at MongoDB and also have a full grasp of the current business process and implementations by working closely with the senior resources in the team
  • In 6 months, you will own one or multiple pods and be responsible for end to end projects in Salesforce CRM area and become a technical SME in MongoDB Salesforce systems and implementations
  • In 12 months, you will have established successful relationships with our key partners and become the go-to person for anything(business process/technical implementations) related to Salesforce CRM
