About the role

Netskope Product Managers use their passion for enterprise / cloud networking and security to bridge customer business requirements with key market trends, and deliver world-class products to market. You will work closely with customers and prospects to present our solutions and understand their requirements, and you will partner with engineering, marketing and the field to define the product roadmap, launch the product and develop an effective GTM plan.
What's in it for you
We are looking for a talented Product Manager who is passionate about creating a seamless experience for the enterprises as they transition to the Netskope Security Cloud Platform. In this role you will manage the end-to-end roadmap for a key component of our security cloud in collaboration with Engineering, Marketing and Sales.
What you will be doing
- Managing the end-to-end roadmap for a key part of the Netskope Cloud Security platform.
- Working with highly energetic & vibrant engineering teams, and using cutting-edge cloud technologies to create innovative solutions.
- Working closely with Sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate their business needs into product strategy and technology requirements as part of MRD and PRD.
- Partnering with Engineering, Marketing and Sales to define the product roadmap, launch the product, and develop an effective GTM plan.
- Developing, managing and communicating the product roadmap to both internal and external key stakeholders.
- Taking ownership of working with the broader team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Ensuring optimal user experiences for end users by working closely with UX/UI designer and development teams on workflows, look-and-feel.
- Developing compelling sales tools and marketing content to support sales and field marketing teams.
- Creating financial, market, and other analytical models to guide product pricing and go-to-market decisions.
- Traveling up to 50% (2x year to India, domestic customer/trade shows)
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
- 4+ years of Product management experience is mandatory
- 10+ years of work experience in Software/IT industry is mandatory
- Previous experience in a technical role (e.g. in Development, QE, system engineering, solutions architect, support, R&D) is required
- Ability to get hands dirty (do User Acceptance Testing, do live demos to prospects and field teams, review product documentation, high level UX wireframing) on high tech product is required
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with overlapping product priorities is required
- 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role - TPM/TME/ or Solution Architect pre sales roles is desirable
- 2+ years of experience building or product managing SaaS, IaaS & API based products is desirable
- 2+ years of experience building or product managing Cyber-security or Data protection products is desirable
- 2+ years of experience building or product managing network security based products is desirable
- Domain:
- Strong understanding of Cyber/data-security/GRC technologies and market
- Soft skills:
- A self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
- Very strong (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills leading, collaborating with cross-functional teams, working closely with strong engineering teams
- Experience representing the customer; experience being the champion and voice of customers by building impactful, personal relationships with customers, engineering teams, and the field, in addition to bringing the customer’s voice into the creation process.
- Education:
- Bachelor or Masters in CS or equivalent required
