As Area Manager, responsibilities include supervising store operations of the respective areas, together with driving sales and marketing efforts related to stores. The directions of these on- ground responsibilities are to be in line with the objectives of the business unit head. Additionally, new initiatives are to be implemented on the ground (including disseminating downline communications)

Responsibilities

  •  Ensuring day to day discipline of store personnel are maintained, and customer service quality is maintained
  • Doing market research on competitors in the respective areas
  • Work with Human Resource department to hire for any vacant positions 
  • Working with the QA team to train new hires
  • Developing a complete understanding of client needs
  • Managing communications between core company departments, and the business unit
  • Working with the business unit head on commercial focus, relative to local competition
  • Maintaining store operational discipline, and ensuring downline communications for new initiatives are disseminated clearly and effectively
  • Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and manage more than one deliverable at a time
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales and clients
  • Ability to identify opportunities in the market, from a localised perspective
  • Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin will be an advantage but not a must)
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree of any field, with a firm grasp of sales and operations
  • At least 3 years of working experience in logistics or e-commerce industry is preferred for this position
