The Business Development Junior Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Business Planning and Operations Head in building strategic partnerships that align with the key objectives of the country and enhance Ninja Van's market position. He shall be able to drive multiple cross-industry and collaborative initiatives to offer value-generating engagements.

Main Duties

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities in the industry, including market research and analysis.
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify areas for business expansion and improvement.
  • Build and develop strategic partnerships aimed to strengthen and improve company position and customer engagement.
  • Manage existing networks and develop them into business leads by converting them into  customers or suppliers.
  • Adopt innovations into business processes that will generate value, whether financial or non-financial in nature.
  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
  • Plan and study the profitability of the partnerships he built and other income generating projects of channels, understanding the key drivers of its revenues and costs.
  • Assist in development of relevant materials such as presentations, reports, and related analysis as and when required by the business.
  • Support the Head of Business Development & Planning in the achievement of high-priority projects

  • Qualifications

  • Graduate of Business Management, Sales, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, or other high quantitative/analytic courses
  • Strong relevant experience in operations and business
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Abreast with business processes and industry trends.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective business strategies.
  • At least 3 years work experience in project management, change management  or operations experience, preferably in logistics and supply chain industry
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, resourceful with the ability to work well independently or in groups
  • Strong networker & relationship builder and highly goal-driven and work well in fast-paced environments
  • Self-motivated, proactive and results oriented. 
  • Comfortable with using SQL to extract data and explore patterns
  • Business competency
  • Business Acumen - Good understanding of the organisation’s objectives, operations, market environment and ethical issues
  • Resource Management - Effective and efficient resource management 
  • Interpersonal Skills - Able to work as an individual contributor and with a team,  lead and develop team members, influence stakeholders and manage conflict
