About the Unit:
Compliance Unit, consisting the Operational Quality and Compliance and the Health, Safety and Environment Teams, ensures that the Company's processes perform within set standards aligned with the internal controls and relevant external regulatory environment.

About the Job:
The HSE Compliance Junior Manager shall be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs across the entire organization to ensure that the company is compliant with the Occupational Safety and Health Standards as mandated by law and other DOLE regulations. The HSE Compliance Junior Manager is tasked to draft and implement policies and programs designed to minimize occupational injuries, accidents, and health problems. They must also provide employees with safety training to ensure that they are fully aware of safety standards, including circulating reading and instructional material on the matter, as well as running or organizing educational programs.

Main Duties

  • Plan and implement OSH and environment-related policies and programs
  • Advise and lead employees on various health, safety, and environment-related topics
  • Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
  • Document health, safety, and environment-related policies, training, regulations, compliance, and adverse events
  • Conduct walkthroughs and formal audits to evaluate safety needs and policies.
  • Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety
  • Monitor equipment moves and maintenance, and make changes to procedures
  • Lead the HSE team in ensuring that there is adequate medicines and equipment readily available for all employees, especially in cases of emergency
  • To conduct inspections in coordination with the Facilities and Admin Officer (FAO) of company operations/areas and to make recommendations concerning operations/areas that are potential hazards to health and/or safety.
  • To maintain awareness of the latest industrial safety and industrial medical practices, evaluate these practices if applicable to the hub/warehouse, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  • Assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the health program for employees to promote wellness and protect the health of the employees, including but not limited to, health education, accident prevention, alcohol abuse counseling, curtailment of smoking, and weight control regimens.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree holder
  • OSH Practitioner as certified by DOLE
  • Safety Officer 3
