Acquisition of New Business Opportunities (Freight Sales LTL)Identify new businesses in freight sales, follow up on potential sales opportunities and gain businesses, manage lead qualification and lead generation through calls, and convert possible prospect leads into accounts, emphasize those with maximum revenue potential. Execute sales strategies to secure competitor business in major and key account portfolios Conducts customer visits, meetings and attend related eventsEvaluate customer needs and prepare proposals to secure new business opportunitiesMaintain a rigorous follow-up process aimed at building relationships with senior decision-makersCoordinate with different departments on lead initiatives
Customer DevelopmentStrong customer development capabilities and ability to grow wallet shareCoordinate with cross functions and act as the customer’s point of contact to ensure all queries, problems or issues are dealt with appropriatelyMarket InsightsProvide market insights from current market trends in terms of competitor service, pricing and operational capabilitiesEnsure updated industry trends are shared back to the commercial team for clarity in terms of product and solution fit
Stakeholder ManagementEnsure close coordination with other members of the sales and operation team.Maintain good relationship and work closely with all the stakeholders to ensure process runs smoothly and does not impact day to day operationsWork closely with product specialist/Project Manager and the Core operation team and create an atmosphere in which timely and high quality work products flow smoothly.Participate in customer meetings, and assist in determining solutions that will be effective that will help in sales conversion

Min 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the domestic / transportation/Freight Forwarding industry.
