As part of the BP Team, the Regional FP&A Senior Associate will be gathering insights and information from a wide range of sources and stakeholders; analyzing information and integrating key assumptions with the aim of optimizing business costs, improving business processes and / or supporting pricing decisions.  The senior associate will be responsible for implementing the projects, with guidance from the FPA managers and department head. 

Responsibilities

  • Setting up the cost center view / structure for the functions they are looking at. This involves working with Reg Operations, Reg Business intelligence, and Regional Controlling to make sense of the available data and how we can best synthesize all the information
  • Collaboration with Reg Operations and local team to identify key views which will be most useful 
  • Resolving issues / gaps as identified in the monthly update 
  • Liaise closely with Reg Operations and local team on upcoming initiatives
  • Structure the review and financial impact analysis of these initiatives
  • Set the tracking needed to ensure that the initiatives are achieving the committed savings / improvements 
  • Improve the granularity and accuracy of the data through collaboration with Reg Ops, Reg BI and Reg Controlling teams
  • Take part in cross functional projects to achieve improvements in data / information gathering 
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or similar field
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in an analytical role with working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Possess a strong commercial acumen and fundamental understanding of various functions, namely; Finance, Sales, and Operations will be important in order to drive, influence and support various business units
  • Excellent analytical skills to process voluminous data, interpret trends, so as to make strategic recommendations to help the business grow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to compose and present reports, findings and presentations with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong team player and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, present, influence and collaborate with broad cross functional partners
