To support our growing team we are looking for an experienced Director of Finance for our German entity to undertake all aspects of financial management, directing financial planning and strategy, developing internal control policies and procedures, analyzing and reporting on financial performance and communicating with external stakeholders. You will report directly to our Group‘s CFO located in Tallin, Estonia.

With your team of currently 4 people you will among others:

  • Lead the department's Finance and Risk, Compliance & Privacy
  • Control all essential business indicators (KPI)
  • Conduct financial and liquidity planning, budget preparation, and monitoring in close cooperation with the board and Group’s finance team
  • Be responsible for the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage company audits
  • Manage accounting operations related with customer invoicing, A/R, and calculations of project inventory changes
  • Coordinate A/P, GL, Payroll, Cost Accounting and Fixed Assets Accounting with external or intra group service provider
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual budget and financial forecasts
  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
  • Support month-end and year-end close process, publish monthly and annual financial statements
  • Work with external counsel for supporting expats taxation
  • Manage corporate insurance programs (health & legal)
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to optimize internal controls
  • Reviews financial and HR conditions of new agreements
  • Works together with the Group‘s finance team in consolidation, management reporting and accounting policy development processes
  • Manage German finance team members
  • Additional  responsibilities as necessary for this postion
  • Experience Requirements

  • Master‘s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • 10+ years of overall combined accounting, auditing and finance experience
  • Experience in an international environment is a big plus
  • Very good verbal and written German and English skills
  • Understanding of German GAAP as well as IFRS requirements
  • Capacity and willingness to communicate and be a part of cross border team
  • Compliance orientation
  • Proficiency in accounting software and other IT applications and tools
  • People management and training skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Availability for European travel approximately 2-3 times annually
