We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to work within the e-government solutions space for our new project in Middle East, with a focus on delivering great digital user experience and translating vision into tangible communications. You have proven track record of effective communication, strong body of work, high-level creativity, and can-do attitude.
The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for overseeing and running digital design activities to make compelling user experiences. The aim is to deliver beautiful and meaningful user experience for digital products and deliverables within the business account at Nortal. This is a multifaceted role that involves working closely with user researchers and product management and members of agile sprint teams.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will advise and guide user research and validation processes, create a safe space for the designers in the team to produce great designs in a fast-paced agile environment. Experience in designing touchless interfaces and interfaces for mixed reality is appreciated, and experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML/CSS and comparable languages is also considered as a great value add.
Day to day:
Produce detailed specifications for product interface and interactions. Identify product UX/UI inconsistencies across multiple products. Work directly with the agile sprint teams to present and communicate design concepts. Oversee design sprints, workflows and delivery. Week to week:
Present and communicate your work to wider teams and other stakeholders. Advise and help guide user and market research (evaluative and generative) studies and observe and analyse end user behaviour. Contribute to ideation sessions by helping to sketch initial design ideas. Creation of web and mobile app prototypes and clickable wireframes used in user testing. Oversee and aid in conducting user testing with end-users. Contribute to user experience design, user flows and work with product teams to prioritise tasks. What you need:
You are comfortable with lots of ambiguity and quickly shifting priorities. You have a can-do attitude and know that a quick sketch can align everyone. A good knowledge of tools such as Figma and Miro.Ability to rapidly produce multiple design mock-ups. Experience in the product development process starting with user-research uncovering pain-points and opportunities to detailed UX/UI design specifications. You have experience in design systems and supporting on the development of it. You harness the power of visual and UI communication in all forms: digital, physical touchpoint, large screen, presentations etc. You love to take an opportunity area and explore potential possibilities in a highly visual and creative manner. You have 8+ years' experience in creating customer facing products and services, ideally in high paced environments. You have experience working in a cross-functional team, involving research, design, engineering, data analysis and business. Excellent communication skills to communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively. Excellent time management skills with ability to manage strict, frequent deadlines. Travelling to the Middle East as necessary.
