Job responsibilities:

  • Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
  • Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
  • Communicates changes in patient's clinical condition with Physician's, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
  • Participates in the discharge planning process.
  • Initiates patient education plan, as prescribed by a physician. Teaches patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury by explaining: post-treatment home care needs.
  • Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
  • Prepares equipment and aids physicians during examination and treatment of patients.
  • Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol.
  • Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, promptly, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be a registered nurse with a valid RN license in the state you are applying for.
  • Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric Experience.
  • BLS & ACLS 
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic platform and ability to quickly adapt to new facilities and conditions.
  • Other records or documents needed will be explained during the onboarding process.
