DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Lead a global team of full time employees and contractors to deliver marketing campaign technical builds, quality expectations, technical and product updates, and departmental and cross-functional projects
  • Responsible for staffing and capacity of internal team and vendors, daily management, engagement and professional development of team
  • Ownership and optimization of our global master campaign intake process (currently built on Podio) to ensure a seamless user experience for Okta’s global team of marketers when requesting support from the Campaign Operations team
  • Responsible for deliverability, QA quality, error rates, email performance and delivery SLAs
  • Set the strategy with your marketing operations counterparts for how to optimize our use of marketo templates and other marketing technology to scale and automate the execution and tracking of omni channel marketing efforts
  • Lead strategy and feedback loop with marketing teams (regional marketing, campaigns, live & digital events, corporate marketing and more) for improving campaign performance
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting on email performance, coverage, deliverability, system health, and team operations and delivery
  • Leverage data to drive insights, prioritize initiatives, technical and process investments
  • Responsible for maintenance and optimization of all email, landing page and program templates in Marketo
  • Plan and execute ongoing testing (layout, format, frequency, copy, etc.) to continuously improve email and landing page performance focused on user engagement driving towards our KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with local and global privacy and PII regulations

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 3+ years management experience; track record of hiring and retaining high performing teams
  • 7+ years campaign operations, marketing operations or email/digital marketing experience
  • Proven success developing, implementing, and measuring success of new processes and projects, cross-functionally and within team
  • Expert-level Marketo-experience, strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Strong Analytical skills with advanced experience in Excel and some exposure to Tableau
  • Demonstrated success leading projects with Demand Gen, MOps, Web, Ads and IT stakeholders
  • Enterprise-level experience; experience building enterprise grade reporting and testing, and enabling global marketing teams 
  • Deep knowledge (and enthusiasm!) for marketing automation best practices, emerging trends, and technologies
  • Technical acumen: strong grasp of HTML, cross-browser/platform issues, code solutions and email best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for challenges, strong work ethic, ability to inspire a high-performing team
