Job Role:
This position requires developing a deep understanding of key accounts across various government verticals, segments, and departments. A strong understanding of payment industry processes is essential, including both:
* Offline payment solutions: EDC, SD, and DQR
* Online payment solutions: Payment gateway
 
Key Responsibilities

Merchant Acquisition and Account Management:

1. Achieve merchant acquisition goals and targets
2. Develop a strong understanding of prospective merchants' business environments and create tailored pitches.
3. Pitch Paytm solutions along with the overall business proposition to the key stakeholders. This would need one to be comfortable with having multiple discussions with CXO’s/ Senior Management on the merchant’s side.
4. Be responsible for growth and development initiatives across all merchant segments.
5. Have a strong product/ solutioning orientation and ability to work with internal products and other teams to accomplish this objective.
6. Negotiate commercial terms with merchants, leveraging strong numerical and negotiation skills.
7. Plan annual and monthly business development pipelines and go-lives.
8. Pre Sales and Post Sale Handling, training 
9. Acting as the main point of contact between merchant/ client and internal team

Ideal Candidate:

1. Minimum 7 years of overall experience, 3-4 years of relevant payments and industry experience.
2. Possess strong verbal and written communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to close complex enterprise negotiations.
3. Demonstrate strength in relationship management, with experience dealing with CXOs of strategic partners and merchants.
4. MBA from a recognized institution with a strong academic record.
5. Have a passion for Business development and Sales
6. Solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work seamlessly with Product and Tech teams.
