THE ROLE

The Peloton Tax Team is looking for a skilled tax professional to join our in-house tax team. As a member of the Peloton Tax Team, you will help mitigate tax risks and maximize tax opportunities by leveraging your tax experience and through collaboration with business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in international tax compliance for EMEA and APAC territories. Ideally, the candidate will have experience supporting local country tax compliance, familiarity with tax technology tools, and have exposure to transfer pricing principals. This position will report to the Tax Manager and support direct and indirect compliance for Peloton’s foreign entities. This position will also support transfer pricing reporting obligations and help on tax planning initiatives.

We are looking for candidates who have held tax positions with a professional tax consulting firm serving Fortune 500 clients or a position in a public company for at least two years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day responsibilities of the tax team, including but not limited to, supporting international tax compliance workstreams, reconciliation workstreams, planning projects, preparing audit ready documentation, and helping support tax requirements for intercompany transactions. The candidate should stay current on global Corporate Income Tax, VAT/GST and transfer pricing legislative, judicial, and administrative developments.

Required Experience:

  • International tax compliance for EMEA and APAC region territories (Indirect/Direct)
  • Preparation of Corporate Income Tax Returns and VAT/GST tax returns
  • Identify and document Income Tax and VAT/GST compliance issues
  • Preparation of monthly account reconciliations
  • Exposure to international tax planning
  • Exposure to transfer pricing documentation
  • Experience working with a team of skilled tax professionals

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years working in the corporate tax function at a publicly traded company and/or a tax advisory firm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivated with a desire to implement process improvements
  • Manage project schedules and priorities with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally with other teams at Peloton

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • CPA (earned or in progress) and/or JD (with Tax concentration)
