We are a dynamic and constantly growing company. As a result, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Demand Planner. As part of Penumbra’s Demand Planning team, you will support an innovative and global company that develops ground-breaking technology to further its mission of saving patients’ lives. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the main responsibilities of the Demand Planner are inventory management for our European distribution sites and forecasting activities to deliver our innovative products across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). You will also interface with a variety of other departments such as Global Supply Chain & Planning US.
What you'll work on
Partner with EMEA Marketing and Sales teams to understand customer/ market demands and develop monthly revenue/non-revenue SKU level forecasts for both near and long-term planning horizonsFacilitating and developing S&OP forecasting processesChallenge commercial initial S&OP forecast by providing forecast root cause analysis and prepare scenarios for improving the forecast accuracy and processesManage inventories for multiple distribution sites across EU and coordinate weekly replenishmentWork closely with logistics (internal and 3PL) and customer service teams to ensure quality levels and service level goals are maintainedSupport supply chain readiness for new product introductions in EMEAConduct supply chain analytics to continuously drive efficiency improvements and support distribution, procurement, and logistics growthMaintain, and update reports/tools to support monthly planning and forecast processesIndependently maintain and expand a wide contact surface and communicate with several departments through continuous stakeholder managementWhat you bring
Relevant degree in Supply Chain Management or Business EconomicsFirst experience in forecasting processesSolid understanding of E2E processes, especially on the commercial aspects Understanding of the Sales and Operation Planning process (S&OP).Strong Excel know-how or willingness to optimize your existing skillsStrong affinity for numbers and strong analytical skillsPersistent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyFluent in English, any other European language is a plusKnowledge and skills in ERP are mandatory, ideally in SAPFamiliar with forecasting tools (Anaplan)What we offer
