Director of Data Systems will be responsible for business systems and data in our ERP (SAP). The director will develop enterprise system integration strategies that will improve collaboration across the supply chain. Should understand Supply Chain goals and objectives and identify technological? solutions to solve business problems. Should provide business case analysis, feasibility, and ROI projections to help Senior Management on strategic decisions.

What you'll work on

  • Directs and builds out data and enterprise teams
  • Develop enterprise system integration solutions and strategies to improve supply chain collaboration and efficiency
  • Work closely with Operations leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems with system enabled solutions
  • Closely coordinate systems solutions with IT
  • Responsible for management of and setting direction for master data, BOMs, Routers, data analytics
  • Select, manage, train and develop staff. Establish objectives and assignments and provide ongoing feedback through performance reviews and development plans
  • What you bring

  • Detailed knowledge of medical device products, processes, and system integrations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science with 8+ years of experience in medical device or related industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry experience desired
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role desired
  • SAP and Camstar (Siemens Opcenter) or equivalent desired
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Tableau, and Anaplan a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously
  • Working Conditions
    · General office and cleanroom environment
    · Business travel from 0 – 15%
    · Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens
    · Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds
    · The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
