As a QA Training Services Specialist, you will play a pivotal role at Penumbra providing timely and accurate support of our quality processes related to the maintenance of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). 

What You’ll Work On

• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the EDMS and training processes.
• Enter paper training records into the EDMS.
• Maintain up-to-date training records.
• Resolve and respond to training issues and questions about the training system.  
• Verify Training Line Clearance is accurate and functional.
• Provide support for internal and external regulatory audits. 
• Assist in various other Quality Specialist tasks as needed.  

What You Contribute

• A high school graduate with 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, biotechnology, Document Control, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other standard office tools
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously

Working Conditions

General office, production, laboratories and controlled environment facility. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, to use a computer and sit for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Base Pay Range Per Hour:  $27.58 – 41.05 / hour
Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, work location and shift, and will increase over time based on meeting performance and business needs.
