As a Sales Operations Manager at Penumbra, you will collaborate with REAL colleagues in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure cross-functional operational alignment and transparency throughout the sales cycle. 

This role will lead the optimization of REAL’s lead generation and sales cycle utilizing Salesforce to support pre- and post-sale activities, delivering key information and business intelligence about the sales pipeline, bringing to light opportunities to increase sales velocity and drive product utilization.  

This role will collaborate with REAL colleagues to ensure superior customer service and utilization of the REAL platform and strive to meet and exceed quarterly and annual organizational sales goals.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
•Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales teams to align strategy, customer segmentation and sales funnel management within Salesforce.
•Manage the development, deployment, training and optimization of Salesforce for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success Teams, leveraging understanding of business requirements to help drive implementation
•Unearth customer insights to help determine appropriate sales and marketing strategies to maximize growth objectives
•Optimize and support the sales process by introducing best practices to manage, report, and track activities throughout the sales funnel
•Use integrated systems and infrastructure to enable our team to meet and exceed revenue targets through effective data management of the metrics and key performance indicators that drive our business
•Work with Marketing and Sales leadership to develop and maintain key reports to provide business intelligence to grow sales and drive utilization*•Work with the Salesforce Admin team to ensure its structure can support enhanced sales productivity reporting and be the “source of truth”
•Manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and long-term sales metrics and forecasting processes for assigned teams
•Analyze sales activities for maximum effectiveness of sales execution 
•Develop and implement effective and measurable reporting tools with consistent analysis of ongoing performance
•Contribute to the development, leadership, communication, and management of a highly scalable sales process, from prospecting and presenting to negotiating, closing and transition post sale operations

•Professional Development: 
o Keep current on REAL System platform and services being offered and give feedback to internal business partners on market receptivity, concerns or issues learned from the customers

•Maintain an ongoing knowledge of all REAL markets and related product innovations, sales promotions, catalogs and advertising for personal sales effectiveness and corporate market intelligence
•Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures
• Understands relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adheres to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
•Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures
•Perform other work-related duties as assigned*Indicates an essential function of the role

Position Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•Salesforce Administrator Credential or equivalent experience
•Proficient in data and business intelligence tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau

Additional qualifications:
•Familiarity with marketing operations software such as Marketo
•5 years of successful experience in healthcare, information technology, or virtual reality
•Strong leadership skills that are both results and goal oriented
•Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with background in developing and summarizing complex information with a high comfort level presenting to senior management
•Proven ability to collaborate with multiple functional groups (sales, marketing, and ops) to achieve business plan goals
•Effective creative problem solving, quantitative analysis and interpersonal written/verbal communication skills showing ability to lead and work well with others

•Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds
