As a key member of Penumbra's growing and hardworking Finance team, the Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accounts receivables ledgers for all entities through collections, recording of customer payments, resolving and validating account discrepancies, preparation of account reconciliations and summary or detailed reports and analysis to assess collectability of customer balances.

What You’ll Work On
• Prepare monthly A/R reconciliations for US and International entities.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies including the preparation and review of credit memorandums.
• Review and verify posting details of customer payments for all entities.
• Perform customer collection procedures on delinquent accounts for all entities.
• Customer account monitoring and analysis for all entities.
• Works closely with cross functional departments.
• Perform various A/R tasks and ad hoc projects as requested.
 
What You Contribute
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field with 5+ years related experience in Accounts Receivable for US and international entities or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced Excel skills required, pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, and other standard office tools
 
Working Conditions
General office environment. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Base Pay Range Per Hour:  $35.00 – 50.00 / hour
Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
