The Measurement Data Foundation team creates the tools, processes and de-identification solutions necessary for Monetization use cases that maintain the privacy of our users and compliance. We implement a performance, privacy-centric approach to the use of Pinner data coming in (conversion data) and going out (data egress) for both internal and external consumers.

What you’ll do:

Manager for the Conversion Data team (9 FTE ICs ) which sits within the Measurement Data Foundations organization in Seattle.
Re-invent new techniques to obfuscate data and how to deliver data to downstream teams while maintaining a high bar for Pinner privacy.
Work closely with cross functional partners in Seattle.
Drive both short term execution and long term engineering strategy for Pinterest’s conversion data products.

What we’re looking for:

Experience managing product development teams, including working closely with PM and Product Design to identify, shape and grow successful products.
The ideal candidate will have experience with processing high volumes of data at a scale.
Grit, desire to work in a team, for the betterment of all.
2+ years Engineer Management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent experience.

We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1 time/week, for this reason it needs to be based in Mexico City.
