We’re looking for an EMEA Sr. Agency Commercial Lead to help grow Pinterest’s agency business in Europe. The successful candidate will join our Agency and Ads Partners team. They will work with a team of world class and passionate people to shape an agency commercial partnership framework that creates measurable value for agencies, advertisers, Pinners and Pinterest. You will be responsible for the internal analysis, strategy, the go-to-market plan and the delivery and monitoring of our commercial agency partnerships. This will involve you working with agencies and internal cross-functional teams to translate the vision into a reality. The successful candidate will also work with country and regional sales leaders to understand and support local strategic priorities.

 

What You'll do: 

  • Drive incremental and new business revenue with top global agencies 
  • Sell digital advertising solutions into media agencies directly
  • Possess a strong track record in sales, project management and commercial success
  • Have deep knowledge of the agency landscape, key decision makers, operating models, commercial structure and contracts.
  • Hands-on knowledge of media planning, campaign management, media measurement and media channels (e-commerce, branding, formats and targeting)
  • Proven success in developing commercial products and capabilities for agencies
  • Have been a skilled negotiator that with the ability to predict and account for multiple scenarios
  • Demonstrable ability to analyse and draw clear insights and actions from large data sets
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships internally and externally; both in person and virtually
  • Prove demonstrable impact of the agency team’s work using an effective combination of metrics and market feedback
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to agency partnerships
  • Work cross-functionally to help Pinterest build a world-class advertising platform

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 12+ years Digital advertising agency and agency sales experience, working specifically with performance advertising products
  • Experience working with executive-level business and marketing leaders within agency organizations with a customer focus
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing/advertising, or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of managing revenue pipeline with forward-looking predictability
  • An independent, business-focused creative thinker who is excited to work with leading agency and technology partners
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and a bias for proactively resolving issues

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from our London office.
